For applicants from Bangladesh: Apply through the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (ugc.gov.bd). Its internal deadline is several weeks before the CSC date.

What it covers

• Approved tuition and examination fees
• Return airfare to the UK
• Monthly stipend
• Thesis grant (if applicable)
• Warm clothing allowance
• Study travel grant

Who can apply

• Citizen of Bangladesh (an eligible Commonwealth country) and permanently resident there
• First degree of at least upper second-class (2:1) honours standard, or a lower second plus a relevant postgraduate qualification
• Unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship
• Must be nominated by the national nominating agency (University Grants Commission of Bangladesh)

How to apply

1. Read the UGC Bangladesh circular for this round and note its internal deadline
2. Choose up to three UK master's courses that match CSC development themes
3. Complete the application on the CSC Electronic Application System (EAS)
4. Submit the UGC's own forms and documents by the UGC deadline
5. If nominated, the CSC makes the final selection (results usually around May–Jun 2027)
