Who can apply

• Citizen of Bangladesh (one of 17 eligible countries this cycle) and permanently resident there
• First degree of at least upper second-class (2:1) honours, or a master's degree
• Unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship
• Must be nominated by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh

How to apply

1. Read the UGC Bangladesh circular and note its internal deadline
2. Contact potential UK supervisors and prepare a research proposal
3. Complete the CSC Electronic Application System (EAS) application
4. Submit the UGC nomination documents by the UGC deadline
