The UK is one of the most popular destinations for Bangladeshi students, largely because most taught master's degrees take just one year. Bangladesh is eligible for the biggest UK government awards — Chevening and the Commonwealth Master's, PhD and Shared Scholarships — as well as GREAT Scholarships and university awards such as Gates Cambridge and Clarendon. After graduating, students can apply for the Graduate Route to work in the UK.
